What is your favorite quote?
As I have more time behind me than in front of me, this quote has never been more powerful.
All to often I find myself focusing on how difficult a certain day is. Then I remember this quote.
It seems like it has taken all but a very short time to get to retirement age.
Days are gone of a lot of firsts for me. Learning to ride a bike or roller skate, learning how to spell or learning my times table. Going to prom, my first date, amusement parks and concerts. Getting married, having children, changing jobs and enjoying grandchildren being born.
So that is why the days are long but the years are short is my favorite quote.
