Are you a lifelong learner?
Some people pick up on things quickly and others are much slower to learn. Yet there are some that make you wonder if they ever learn.
I think we all are lifelong learners. Maybe not in the sense of going to school but in the overall sense of learning from experiences.
Some of my most valuable life lessons have came from difficult times and difficult people. None were easy but the lessons were priceless.
I think to be able to challenge your mind by being a lifelong student is great for some. For me, I had a hard enough time just doing K-12. I on the other hand had life experiences. Ones in which you can’t use an eraser and change any outcome that you didn’t like or that was wrong. Those are the ones that left scars. Some heal and some just scab over enough to allow new skin to form while still carrying the pain from the old wound. Nonetheless, I would take life’s lessons over school lessons any day.
