Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I believe so much happens, in a 10 year period. I am hopeful that I will be retired and living in peace away from my current county.

Not that my life is bad, hard or unbearable but, I just want to be retired to do whatever I want. To enjoy not doing the same mundane things every single day. To feel free to stay all day in pjs, messy bun and no makeup if I so choose. To not have to go grocery shopping every week, fix meals daily or have a “laundry” day. I often think I could have been a nomad and been perfectly content.

I, like most Americans, have worked very hard. Sometimes two jobs at a time while raising a family as a single parent. By the time we are able to retire, money is an issue, health insurance is unaffordable and our health is often a deterant to living our remaining years in what I call, peace. How sad is it to work your whole life to find out you must continue working because those individuals in control of our economy often fail to take care of those that are aging, veterans and disabled.

With all of the above, I still continue to hold out hope that within 10 years, I will be retired and living a peaceful life either near a beach or in the country away from all the hustle and bustle of the world.
