What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?
I’m not really a tv person. Which could be why I have watched quite a few of the same series and movies more than 5 times. I am also a creature of habit.
You can never, in my opinion, go wrong with classics like I Love Lucy, The Andy Griffith Show, Three’s Company, Gilligan’s Island, Roseanne or even Mama’s Family. I also will rewatch….oh yes I do….some realities shows. Don’t hate, you are being asked the same question and if you’re honest, others might find your shows/movies to be odd choices. Just embrace it and don’t be hatin on anyone else’s choices.
I find it hard to be able to unwind and fully engage in anything to do with the television if it’s longer than 30 minutes. However, if you were to ask my all-time favorite movie, it is probably The Notebook. A love story that was from an era before the hustle and bustle of technology and where children actually played outside from dawn til dusk. Before we relied on the fast food industries to give us our nutrition and when others truly cared about their neighbors.
A few of my other favorites that I can watch on repeat are:
Purple Rain (I mean Prince…a talent like no other)
Pretty Woman (Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are beautiful people)
Secrets Dare to Dream (A must watch especially if you believe in love after loss)
Home Alone (I don’t care that it’s July. It’s Christmas in my heart)
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (Seriously. Who didn’t love Mr. Rogers and his soft kind voice)
Finding Normal (Candace Cameron Bure always has a way of bringing the character alive) and FINALLY:
The Bridges of Madison County (Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep have very good chemistry)
As I read through the choices of some of my favorites, I’ve noticed a couple of things. I really do like the simple things in life and maybe, just maybe, I do believe in true love.
So what are your favorites? Come on and share. No judgment here.
